David-DiaanLos Angeles-based Fariborz Davoodian (aka David Diaan) studied Radio, Television and Journalism at the renowned University of Missouri. He is a respected Iranian American entrepreneur, actor, writer and filmmaker. His popular theater group has toured across the United States and Canada. David is a prolific artist and humanitarian.

Bobby Naderi / Dr. Gholam-Hossein Mossadegh

Boddy NaderiBorn in the midst of war to a Painter and Activist, Bobby Naderi had an adventurous early life traveling through the Mideast, Mediterranean and Europe before finally being granted asylum in Canada. Naderi has Persian, Turkish, and Spanish Origins. Having been described as a young, ethnic George Clooney (by Variety no less), Bobby was a top-three choice to play the Lead Role in BSkyB’s 10-part mini SINBAD.  Bobby recently gained notice for his lead role in 2010’s Sundance Film Festival Official Selection Hit! “THE TAQWACORES” as a naïve Arab college grad joining a group of Muslim punks – which is now rolling out theatrically across Europe.  Bobby is half-Iranian and half-Spanish; he’s fluent in Farsi, Arabic & Spanish (and can play all those accents).  “THE TAQWACORES” is his second Sundance picture (having also appeared in a supporting role in 2007′s PHANTOM LOVE). Currently, Bobby is working on Ben Affleck’s “Argo.”

 

Dominic Rains / Colonel Shahidi

Dominic RainsFrom Dallas, Texas, Dominic Rains began with prominent roles in Saving Jessica Lynch and Flight 93 and went on to appear in numerous television dramas in recurring roles on such well known shows as LAX, 24, E-Ring, Related, Courting Alex, General Hospital: Night Shift, NCIS, and FlashForward before turning his attention to the theater.

Having gained attention for his roles in notable projects at the award-winning Elephant Theatre Company in Los Angeles such as Block 9Love Sick and Baby Doll, Dominic was cast as a lead role in Eyad Zahra’s 2010 Sundance TOP-10 film, The Taqwacores. Featured in numerous global Film Festivals including Sundance, SXSW and BFI’s LIFF, The Taqwacores gained North American and French distribution with over 40 festival appearances, winning top accolades including Best Actor for Dominic’s portrayal of Jehangir Tabari.

Dominic is currently signed on with Exxodus Pictures to lead their JINN franchise.
